    Living Green

I do a lot of walking on campus and lately I've been seeing an increase in the amount of trash on the ground. Texting kills

Imagine yourself driving to class. Suddenly, you hear that familiar "beep" of receiving a text message. Although the early morning traffic is heavy -- cars shooting in and out in front of you, people speeding -- you reach over to pick up your cell phone and read the text message anyways.

    Cell phones in class

First day of class, everyone knows what it’s like in one way or another and knows what to expect. You find your classroom and pick a seat to spend the next 16 weeks of your life listening to a very inspirational teacher lecture on a subject that will probably never apply to every day life.

Listening very intently, you jot down a few notes when all of the sudden, a cell phone goes off!
